Change Labs seeks a highly organized, creative, and collaborative Technical Assistance (TA) Coordinator to manage our NSBCI (Navajo Small Business Credit Initiative) technical assistance programs serving Navajo small business owners seeking out business financing. This is a two-year position responsible for administering a $1 million federal TA budget to support entrepreneurs before and after receiving loans. The TA Coordinator will ensure borrowers receive the targeted guidance and professional services they need to successfully access and repay small business loans, typically under $50,000. Lending Coach with a bookkeeping or accounting background

Our Lending Coaches are responsible for safeguarding the financial health of Change Labs’ loan portfolio while supporting the long-term success of the entrepreneurs we serve. This position has a special focus on building financial capacity and accounting literacy among Native entrepreneurs, especially those preparing for loans or receiving post-loan technical assistance. The coach will help business owners set up and manage bookkeeping systems (Wave, QuickBooks, spreadsheets, or other tools), understand financial statements, prepare for tax filings, and generate the reports needed for capital access and loan compliance.
