Over a 12-month engagement, the consultant will develop data collection and reporting systems, identify opportunities for automation and data integration, train staff, and help translate program data into actionable insights and useful resources for grant writing and reporting. We’re looking for a thoughtful, systems-oriented partner who can balance MEL expertise with the realities of a growing organization and help us build internal capacity for the long term. The anticipated contract budget is $42,000.

Change Labs is seeking an experienced fund management professional to help launch our Regenerative Equity Fund, a prototype designed to expand access to capital for Navajo-owned businesses and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem on the Navajo Nation. We’re looking for a hands-on partner who can turn our vision into a functioning investment fund. Over six months, you’ll help develop investment models and term sheets, establish underwriting and governance processes, shape business investment-readiness programming, and build our team’s capacity to manage investments over time. This is an opportunity to help design and implement a fund that challenges conventional approaches to capital and explores how investment can generate financial returns while building lasting, locally retained wealth. We’re especially interested in practitioners who have launched or managed funds, understand impact-oriented or flexible capital, and are excited to build practical solutions alongside a Native-led organization.

Change Labs seeks an experienced consultant to help us put our loan loss reserve methodology and lending policies into practice. We have the foundational framework in place; now we need a hands-on partner to build the tools, procedures, checklists, reporting calendar, and governance structures that will make it work day to day. Over approximately six months, the consultant will work alongside our team to strengthen portfolio monitoring, reserve calculations, internal controls, and approval processes; train staff; and ensure we can manage and maintain these systems independently. We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise in lending, loan loss reserves, and portfolio management with a practical, collaborative approach to implementation and knowledge transfer.
