Change Labs receives grant from Target Foundation

Tuba City, Navajo Nation (AZ) -- Change Labs has received a $200,000.00 unrestricted grant from the Target Foundation to put toward programming for Native entrepreneurs.

“It really gives us that breathing room to experiment, to make our programs more effective,” said Heather Fleming. Fleming, the executive director of Change Labs, said this unrestricted grant could help fund new initiatives and new ideas.

According to the foundation’s website, they are “committed to enabling shared prosperity and opportunities by upholding equity and inclusion for all communities.” The foundation states that they want to help drive change, remove barriers and create access for communities that may lack these opportunities.
