Join us at the Change Labs E-ship Hubs for free tax preparation services through the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program, supported by the IRS and facilitated by United Way of Tucson & Southern Arizona.
VITA provides no-cost tax help to individuals and families, helping ensure accurate filing, access to valuable tax credits like the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Child Tax Credit (CTC), and avoiding expensive tax preparation fees.
Services will be provided in person by IRS-certified volunteers, with most returns completed the same day.

Monday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Tuba City E-ship Hub)
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Tuba City E-ship Hub)
Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Shiprock E-ship Hub)
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Shiprock E-ship Hub)
Appointments are encouraged, with limited walk-ins available based on volunteer capacity.
What to Bring:
Valid photo ID (and spouse if filing jointly)
Social Security cards for everyone listed on the return (required)
Income documents (W-2s, 1099s, etc.)
Bank account and routing number for direct deposit
Form 1095-A (if applicable)
Who is Eligible:
Most VITA sites serve households with incomes under $89,000, with some flexibility depending on individual circumstances.
