Being loan-ready starts long before you submit an application.
Join Change Labs for a practical virtual workshop focused on understanding the loan journey and what it truly means to be prepared for capital. Participants will learn what lenders look for when evaluating a loan application, how to strengthen their business and financial records, and the steps they can take now to become more loan-ready.
Through practical examples and guided discussion, attendees will gain greater confidence in navigating the lending process, preparing key business and financial documents, and understanding how planning, repayment capacity, and financial management contribute to a stronger loan application. The session will also explore common loan-readiness gaps and how entrepreneurs can begin addressing them before applying for funding.
This workshop is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs exploring future financing opportunities, early-stage and established business owners seeking capital, Kinship and NSBCI borrowers, entrepreneurs preparing to apply for a business loan, business owners who have previously been denied financing, and anyone looking to strengthen their financial records and better understand lender expectations.
Facilitated by Duane Humeyestewa, NSBCI Technical Assistance Coordinator and Change Labs Business Coach.
